Baby Girl loves her some D.J. Lance!
It's been awhile since the last post and first it was because Baby Girl was sick, then I was sick, and then I let my circumstances make my decisions for me. I learn every Sunday, from Pastor Husband, that we are not to make decisions out of our circumstances or from our past. We make decisions based off God's teachings, the Bible. Well, I let stuff get to me and then the lack of motivation to do anything was gone. Needless to say, the house got kind of messy and my attitude was crappy. I talked to my sister about it and she said it's adjusting to being at home, to being a stay-at-home mom/wife. It takes time to get used to especially if you've been working for over the past 10 years. I really didn't think that it would be so rough, but it is and that's okay. I understand now that Pastor Husband is a better pastor and man because he no longer has to worry about home or the baby. He can rest and work to his fullest capability because I am home. I also wouldn't trade it for anything either. I do love watching Baby Girl change on a weekly basis. Some days are really hard because she may be having a bad day, but there are more wonderful moments than bad.
I am blessed with this life God has given me for this time in my life.
One of her new changes is eating! I find it fascinating that she's eating. I love watching her eat. She is eating so much too! She went from one tablespoon per meal and now it's at least three and sometimes more. So far, she has liked everything we've made for her. The list (and it keeps growing) of recent mushed-up foods are:
Apples
Pears
Bananas
Green Beans
Mango
Peas
Sweet Potatoes (I found out I like these too!)
Russet Potatoes
Carrots
Zucchini
There is a yummy-sounding recipe that I want to try - Banana Chicken - something the whole family can eat! I owe all the baby food ideas and how to cook them to Homemade Baby Food Recipes. I love this site and it explains things so simply. THANK YOU!
